Re: Qualifying Draw

I do not really understand how points are allocated.....if you win three matches in qualifying for a WTA tournament - as here - you get 10 points. If you were playing a 25K ITF event and won three matches you would have 18 points....????

Go Greta.

No. If you win 3 matches in qualifying here you get 16 points. If you win 3 matches in a $25K is 24 points.

Not really fair, but that's the way it is. Then it's not the same qualies in Auckland or Linz than those of Tashkent or Bogotá so points will never be fair.

Greta might not have been granted a MDWC but they certainly placed her (and her rivals) in the better spot of the draw by far

Many girls dream, win of 3 matches in qualifying and winning of the tournament 16 + 280 = 296 points!
