...which is the Serena slam, so nobody else stands a chance. It's the most difficult slam to win because of Serena's dominance there. It would be great if Maria would defend RG. It would solidify her status as a great claycourter.

Really? I think she'll win there again, especially because Maria won in 2012. Se'll be extra motivated to win RG

True! But who's there to beat her? I'm definitely not expecting a lower ranked player like Razzano to beat her again in 2013.

I don't think so. What it takes to beat Serena at the French is a great performance from a player who is very good on clay, like Kuznetsova or Stosur. But I really don't see them winning against Serena ever again in a major, especially Stosur

Actually even a player like Zakopalova can challenge her at the French any day, remember 2009  . Serena tends to be really off at the French so as you said anyone who cuts the UE against her in this surface has a chance to beat her .

They are all headcases too scared of winning though I don't want to be misunderstood... I like Serena, she's an amazing tennis player, but RG is Maria's best chance for a slam next year and I do understand that Maria will never beat Serena again, so I need someone else to take her out in that tournament
