I love it. I really like the variety of it. Some of your classes are gonna be read the book then write the paper types of classes, usually those that are more clinically based (abnormal psych, child psych, social psych). But you also are gonna get more scientific courses (my school makes psych-stats a requirement, and you can also take cognitive and learning classes). You have a lot of different career options - either as a clinician or a researcher - and for me it's very gratifying because you're helping others. Some classes are easier than other (stats was a bitch this semester) but I don't think it's an unreasonably hard major. I'd just take into consideration that you're probably looking at a lot of additional schooling regardless of what you choose to do. At least that's how it is in America.
Hope this helped

Thank you, that did help My ultimate goal is to get into med school and I'm looking at psych for my undergrad. So I'm not too fussed about career options yet, just mostly focused on the program itself.

Merry Christmas to all who are celebrating it!
Just got back from having Chinese food and seeing Les Mis like all the other Jews of America . There were moments of the movie that were wonderful, and there were moments that made me wanna punch somebody. That person is Amanda Seyfried. There wasn't enough Anne and there was a bit too much Hugh, but other than that, it was good enough!

^YES. Loved it. Even though so much of it wasn't in the book, all the added material didn't take away from the original plot. Really really enjoyed it!

I think that's smart. There's definitely a relationship between the two, and the progression from psych to med school is sensible. Best of luck regardless of what you choose
And PS I changed my major four times before I finally felt like I had the right one. Don't worry too much.

Hope you all enjoyed Christmas yesterday! I'm not feeling very well today, so I'll spend the afternoon in bed
