I agree!

Ana finishes her 2012 season with 7 singles tournaments, 60 wins and just 7 losses
She last played in May 2009 and came back March 2012 winning 4 titles and 23 matches in a row

Re: $50,000 Ankara (TUR) 2012 | Dec 17 (Winner: Ana Savic)
poor ending by puig, really
tbh, savic is nothing special, that movement of hers will be exposed badly by better players, she must work on it
it might be good for 10K, but not for bigger tournaments in the long run
maybe this looked like a good match from her, but puig being shit really helped
i did enjoy the tactic of deep returns to the baseline though, got puig off any rhythm, that was smart and well executed

She was dominating Puig totally in the first set, she had a set point at 5-3* 40-30 but then went into error mode She got it together though, and Puig was up 4-2* in the third set and really fell away at the end.

Re: $50,000 Ankara (TUR) 2012 | Dec 17 (Winner: Ana Savic)
About Savic movement...people tend to forget this is indoor hard where the ball flies. And she still wins the tournament. Just imagine what she can do outdoors or in slower surfaces. Some Spaniards in the top 100 would fail miserably in these fast courts and they still are consistent top 100 players with decent careers. I can see Ana going far in the rankings.

Agreed. I think she'll do very well on slower surfaces where she has a lot more time on the ball.

Don't be so critic on Ana, she hasn't played on hard courts at least three/four years !!!!!!!!
She needs only 36 points to make it into Top 200, that should be very soon

Finances, she couldn't handle it no more. It looks that break did everything best for her game and self confidence

Savic It's actually about time she won a big ITF title Her Antalya success showed she could be going for a lot more, so a bit surprising she only made it now She obviously can make top100, good luck
