It is incredibly boring that yet again a country singer won a competition like this. I am beginning to wonder if Country music fans even appreciate any other type of music?

Then again most people who like other types of music... hate country music.

I called it like 5 weeks ago, I knew he was going to win the competition because anytime you have a country singer in the mix and they are heading towards the end, he/she will win.

Just sucks cause he sounds like just any run of the mill country singer you can find on the charts.

I still think Carly and the last 2 groups will do well though.

The audience that watches these shows is Middle America.

FOX only cares about the ratings.

I think Britney and Demi being there saved the show from completely bombing in the ratings to be quite honest, I think many of last years viewers hadn't planned on coming back and 2-3 million were added due to Britney and Demi being there. I think ratings would have been averaging 5-6 million at best otherwise.

Does Carly writes her own songs? She may survive this industry if yes, or else she'll be signed and then be dropped by record labels and we'll never hear from her anymore in 5 years time.

Most definitely. Ratings will likely be slightly lower next year as well. I dread to think what they'll be if either of them leaves.

Winning these things seems to be a kiss of death anyway. If Taylor Swift can be as big as she is then there's no reason why Carly can't.

I'm not sure if it would be in Carly's benefit to be signed now or in a couple of years though.

Some of my thoughts regarding the finale:

- Tate winning is bad but very expected. Another WGWG winning. Yawn. At least he's more talented than Scotty McReery, I guess.
- Fifth Harmony improved exponentially in their last performances. "Anything Could Happen" was the best performance of the season by anyone by a MILE. It was the first performance apart from "Anytime You Need a Friend" that I felt they really felt and looked like a group. Dinah's high falsetto note was orgasmic, and everyone's vocals were on point, even Normani and Ally's. Camila was amazing as usual.
- The encore performance of ACH was basically just as good as the first performance
- "Let It Be" was a bit of a disappointment at the start (Normani's vocals were so shaky), but basically Dinah and Camila at the end saved the whole performance. Camila especially, her LETITBELETITBELETITBEYEAHHH was sooo good.

-Although 5H didn't win, I believe they can be legitimitely big artists in the future. I think they'll be the most successful out of this whole season.

- Carly got really boring towards the end. Yes her performances were still good but what I've realized is that her voice doesn't have many shades and tones. She kind of sounds the same when she's singing soft or loud, high or low... Also "Hallelujah" is possibly the most overdone song on these shows (apart from maybe I Have Nothing, oh god) and so predictable/lame of her to sing that song.
- LOL at LeAnn Rimes. Oh Gosh.
