I played a few at 16s level and I would have made the state final, but I didn't play enough
I don't have much time, so I just play twilights

Re: Your tennis results?!
I always try to play a set of tennis once a week against my friend at my local tennis club. Won our first match 6-3 3-6 6-4.
And then a couple of days ago I led 5-0 in the 1st set before he came back and won 7 consecutive games to win the set 7-5. I relaxed too much and lost my intensity after I was realised I was up 5-0. Kind of went a bit easy on him when he won his first game

Re: Your tennis results?!
Won 7-6(4) 7-5
It was mostly a shit fest, I couldn't hit much winners, my backhand was TERRIBLE! The only thing that kept me in the game was that he couldn't return my serves.
I also led 4-2 in the second to then go to 4-5 then to 7-5

Re: Your tennis results?!
9-3 in doubles , 6-4 4-6 (10-6) in singles .
Doubles was fun, singles was ugh. My 'fixed' serve was pretty good in doubles (and I was serving with the sun right in my face too), but it kind of fell apart in singles. My good serving form from Thursday practice kinda disappeared. Although anything is better than my old one. I was still able to get some good ones - without that I would've lost probably. On the right track, just need to practice it some more .
The kid I was facing was also a fucking brat . The kind that serves before you're ready, smacks balls to any old where when he's passing them to you to serve. Just ugh. He was just a kid though. I was tempted to give him a very cold handshake but resisted.

Re: Your tennis results?!
I always save set points
Against my friend I was down 5-4 and 4 set points, saved them and saved 2 more at 5-6 before winning tiebreak, therefore winning the match as I won the first set 6-2
Also in my tournaments, saved 5 set points in the second
I always choke a lead before reclaiming it just in time

Re: Your tennis results?!
So after being in the alternates for the past week, I just sneaked in the qualifying draw for the 15k in Plantation in January!
I'm totally not in shape, but it'll be a great way to end a huge part of my life. After working in tennis for the past 10 years, I have been offered a big job in my field of study (environmental engineering) starting in mid-January. It's a big step, becoming an adult (officially!), and I'm excited to move on to something else in such a way
