Anna Blinkova!
(Since I'm into some thread-creating galore...  )
Anna is just 14 (born Sept 10, 1998), and already having quite good results on the junior tour.
She's played 20 tournaments this year, and won 5 (3 G14s and 2 G16s), and this week she went through the final of a G18 G5 as a qualifier, defeating (2) Shymanovich in the semis.
She's gonna play her final tomorrow, against (4) Palina Dubavets.

So Anna's just won her first G18 tournament at only 14 today, she defeated (4) Palina Dubavets 6-4 6-2.  
Hope she keeps playing so good!

Brilliant start of the year for Anna, she's won the 2 tournaments she's played so far, 2 G4 - Salk Open (as a qualifier! ) & Vasteras Junior ITF. Looks promising! 
She now has a CHR of 373.

Through to SF without dropping a set. 
SF will be against (1)Sabina Shaydullina, 2 1/2 years older, ranked ~160. A win over her would be really great. Let's see how she does. Davay Anna!

She won it!  Rolled over Aponasenko 2 & 3.
Still undefeated this year, 3 G4s in a row. Hope she gives a try to G3s now
