I hate snow

There's basically nothing good about

Except for running maybe, I love it, running outside when it's below zero and snowing feels great and makes you look like a badass

Is it lame for me to be bitter/jealous that someone very close to me is doing significantly better than me in a class when I've always been known to be the smart one?

Well you could feel happy for your friend ...but it doesn't mean I don't understand you.

you just want to be the best in something you really give importance to. I think that rivalry might be healthy if that pushes you to get even better as long as it doesn't affect your friendship or relationship.

Lol that happened to me. It didnt last thankfully. But yes I am very insecure and a perfectionist. So.... You too right? Then i learned it didnt change anything and that i needed to be less harsh on myself.
