Nastya is another in a promising group of young Russians. She has two 10K titles to her name, and looks to rebound after an off year in 2011. Her high ranking is #394, and she's currently ranked #772.
She began her season this week at the 10K Antalya Kaya Belek, where she won her first three matches in qualifying to make the main draw.

After a 6-week layoff, Nastya returned to action, as the #1 seed at the 25K Sharm El Sheikh. She staved off match points to make the main draw, defeating Giorgia Marchetti, 36 63 76(7).
She now faces another qualifier, Sofia Araujo, in the opening round.

#6 Nastya made the main draw after defeating Yasmin Hamza, 4 & 4. Now faces WC Pia Konig in the first round.

Nastya advanced to the main draw after upsetting #7 Linda Mair, 1 & 4. Now 2-0 against her.
Although she faces #1 seed Estrella Cabeza-Candela in the first round, she leads the h2h, 1-0.

Nastya's nearly unranked at this point (YE ranking 1054), but she's back for her 1st 2013 tourney, playing 10K Antalya qualies.
She's seed 9 and will take Aselya Arginbayeva in Q1. Go Nastya!

Glad she started off the season with an easy win, 1 & 2! Plays #7 Cristina Ene, next, which will be tougher. Ene leads the h2h, 1-0.
