Well, in my opinion the most effective way of dealing with those type of post(ers) is to simply ignore them and not reply to them. Make them feel like their "opinion" is irrelevant and thus not worthy of a reply.
it won't work , GM will be flooded with their threads and opinions and the likes of badaboo, A.K.B. and oliviasmith will just give credibility to these mashatrashing posters. GM will turn into Mashatrashing forum as MTF turned into Nadaltrashing or tt.tennis-warehouse.com to WTAtrashing
What I don't understand is why that 'shrieking razor' person is allowed to carry on trolling like that. I've been lurking around here for a while now and they don't seem to do anything but hate, but I don't really know what the policy is on that around here.
There is no policy, meaning that basically everyone can say whatever they want, and you know what that means. Every now and then a thread is closed to create the illusion that the mods are upholding the rules, but never before every troll had the opportunity to have a bit of "fun." Every now and then a troll is suspended only to return within a couple of weeks or even days and to happilly continue where he left off without a care in the world. And the suspensions are pretty random as well. Depends on what mod happens to see the offending posts first, who (if anyone) has reported the post(s), which player is being bashed and (I suspect) how much of a following that member has and which player he or she supports him/herself.

Perhaps there's some truth in that. But on the other hand it's also pretty obvious that many just post rubbish in the hope of getting a rise out of people.

it refers only to experienced Rena/Pova tards, who are really making fun , but Aza/Aga fans are extremely serious in their trolling .... There are just a few of them , but they try to be loud enough to be noticed
Majority of these Aza-Aga fans are posting not in their sub-forums (which are almost dead) , but in GM
As GM isn't moderated well , we should keep balance of trolling with other fans ....
I remember how i stopped all these "peak Masha vs peak nobody" threads just by opening some peak vs peak threads that have convinced everyone that peak vs peak threads are not funny, boring and made just for trolling

I was just thinking the other day... is there a possibility that Maria could be No. 1 for the Australian Open? She's not far behind Vika, and surely has nothing to defend before, whereas Vika has her Sydney title to defend, doesn't she?

It's technically possible, like if Azarenka lost second round and Maria won the whole thing. But I doubt it.

Look what I was watching these past couple of hours. All those feels.
By the way when is the exact time of Maria's match tomorrow?

I can so work with that.
Indeed, I have been having a strong granny complex as of late. Moreover, I am just disgusted at how vile & stupid the new kids are, I mean we weren't that way back in the day.
As chrissie-fan pointed out in GM it's more the percentage of the votes that raises eyebrows than the winners. Caro is a surprise but not a big one, I mean she's easily the second most popular player on Twitter.
In a way though though Aga winning adds to the fun I feel.

I love that match (the way she jerks her head after winning the first set at 1:12:14 is so cocky and confident, like she knew she had it at that moment), but hate watching it because it always makes me believe she can re-capture that game and form even if it may not be realistic. F Word shoulder.
Edit: Not meaning to be ungrateful, I know she's still accomplished a lot since then.
