There was an interview in a German tennis magazine with the responsible executive recently. They're in total denial, still claiming that everything will be better next year while it is obviously near to impossible to reach Eurosport's level of coverage, let alone better it.

Hat sich einer der Zuständigen dazu geäußert welche Sender für Eurosport einspringen? Gibt es dann überhaupt noch tennis im free TV oder nur noch Sky & co?

The WTA shouldn't be struggling.
They have international superstars such as Serena and Maria, a Chinese in the Top Ten and a bunch of hot girls.
That's a winning recipe. Someone isn't doing his job correctly.

Yes, it's gone off my listing guide too. New developments though; Hopman Cup highlights on ES, WTA Shenzhen on ESPN (only semis and final), ATP Brisbane highlights also on ESPN.

I just emailed Daniel Franck, Joint COO of IEC In Sport to ask what the situation is with UK broadcast rights. Wasn't really expecting a reply, but got one straight away!

Given that the UK sports channels have published their schedules over the new year, the only broadcaster left that could show Brisbane is BT, but who launches a sport channel at Christmas? It could be that they're just going to miss the start of the season while they get their act together or just launch it FTA on their own platform only.

Here in Nordic countries we has a Tennis channel, my guess they will show the first up China MM, (IF not Brisbane) even it not yet in their schedules...
They have now add they will show the 6 TOP 10 mens playing just after Christmas...

Sky listings up to January 12th show only one tennis program; the Murray/Djokovic USO final on December 26th. Both stations could still be in the running, heck, anything is possible at this rate!

This is 100% incorrect though. Cos Sky 100% are showing the Abu Dhabi exhibition at the end of December. I presume, but I don't know for certain that Eurosport are also showing ATP Doha like normal the week after too.
