虽然止步首轮，但这样的结果，彭帅还是可以坦然接受，因为肩伤困扰让她最近根本无法有正常的竞 技状态。“现在打起球来感觉自己控制不住，而且也不想让伤病给自己太大的影响，也会有所保留。”
在接受采访时，她透露，“在卢森堡和扬科维奇的比赛之后就有接受核磁共振检查，医生劝我最好四周不要打比赛。”但是彭帅还是来到了台北，还坚持参赛，对此彭帅表示这是早已安排好的，“我 很早就确定了要来这里比赛，所以也只休息了两周，也其实是想看看恢复情况。”
谈到明年的目标，彭帅也敞开心怀，“我非常渴望拿到自己在巡回赛的单打冠军，也希望自己能在排名上有所突破。大满贯的比赛上有更好的表现。”她还透露在明年自己会和谢淑薇继续搭档双打，不管遇到什么困难两人都要携手冲击更好的成绩，给彼此更多的信 心和鼓励." She wants to win a WS title in 2013. And Hsish/Shu will play WD together in the whole season next year.

The inaugural 2012 edition, to be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 24th & 25th features four world-class tennis stars, each representing their continent.

Hey my first time visting Peng Shuai's Forum.

Anyway just wanted to say I watched her play today at the Singapore Indoor Stadium against Daniela Hantuchova. Sadly the crowd didn't get into the match as much as they did for the guys but yay at least Peng Shuai won!

I got both their autographs after the match, Peng Shuai was so cute, I said thank you to her in Chinese (xie xie ni) after she signed my book. Then suddenly she looked up at me, smiled and said xie xie back softly. Usually the players don't look at you when they sign stuff for a lot of people after matches so that was really cool. Plus her autograph is big and she really signs them properly
