Re: Off Topic....Anything Goes vol3
I think it's good to have stiff competition first thing.
Plus Serena will be there so if she was going to win she would needed to have played exceptionally well. Vika there doesn't change much.

Steven I hope this is just you being overly emotional. If you still ever need someone to talk to
Brisbane... I can totally envision a Serena tank job there, setting up a Maria-Vika final again

Aww Steven I totally get where you're coming from Because I'm going through the same thing
It's been two years since I left high school as well and I still have no idea WTF I'm doing. I've already changed my degree once and now I'm considering doing it again, but I know my parents will be so mad if I do
I hate it when people are like "study what you have a passion for"...I'm like ummm I hate all this shit, I just want a damn degree
What are you studying?

Re: Off Topic....Anything Goes vol3
I actually like that there are so many top 10 players in Brisbane - it's like that indoor clay P700 Pova rocked in her first visit. It'll give her tough matches and hopefully make her sharp for AO if she's able to get far enough and the draw doesn't fall apart.

You're lucky that you picked something you can deal with. Honestly sooo many people change their minds with their uni courses. It's such a hard decision to make
What uni are you at and what are you studying?

Not to mention nothing interests me

EXACTLY THIS x infinity
I am going to look for an internship so I will have a better idea of what master degree I should pick
Guys, you know I have to pick a master degree BY FUCKING FEBRUARY ???!!!??? NOOOOOOOOOOO Oh god, when I am thinking about it like deeply, it makes me nervous as hell............
whatever . Aren't you a sciences major ?
@BlueTrees : you don't know what interests you? Like... working with people? in a class ? teaching things you know ? writing some boring stuff ? counting some boring stuff too?
what were you excelling the most at ? if you don't know what might interest you, then you should go in a field in which you had great grades and where you feel confident and sure of yourself. A sickinengly shy dude is not gonna be a teacher for instance. Someone who had uber bad grades in sports is not gonna be a sports teacher or a coach fitness or something.

Yeah. That's the thing that gets me the most, you can't make too many mistakes now or you potentially fuck up your entire life, before it's even begun.

Yeah, but there's nothing that I see myself doing and going "Wow, that'd be so awesome!" It's all just...blah/whatever.

Well I have an advice : find a job that you won't hate. Yeah. That's the most important.
Even if you are all "blah/whatever" , at least at the end of the day, you are happy to be home with more $$$ and you are like "it's not that bad, it's a cool place to be, not thrilling, but at least I have a job in which I am not that bad, and I am not that useless"
OTOH if you just hate your job, welp, you might be completely depressed tbh. It's just awful to go to work everyday when you utterly hate your job. No goal at all. You can't even feel relieved when you get money because you are just so unhappy.
But I also believe you should choose a field where you could have many perspectives of career. That's also very good, so you won't be locked in the same kind of tasks all your life.

Re: Off Topic....Anything Goes vol3
A couple months ago, I was so depressed about my future that I actually went up to my parents and told them I was thinking of becoming an actor
