Re: Maria's 2013 Schedule
Good schedule. Not too crowded, playing pretty much whenever possible and getting enough rest in between.

Re: Maria's 2013 Schedule
I do believe Madrid is wildly unnecessary. It's actually great that it didn't hinder Maria's title run to RG this year.

Re: Maria's 2013 Schedule
Madrid is mandatory though. I'm sure she would skip it otherwise.

Re: Maria's 2013 Schedule
^ Yep. And it's such a terrible spot on the calender as well.
A part of me still hopes that she goes back to Birmingham

Re: Maria's 2013 Schedule
With the exception of that blue clay shit tournament, I am totally in love with the schedule.

Re: Maria's 2013 Schedule
Please, Maria. So many hardcourt tournaments next year. Please win one of them! And by one of them I mean Miami. Or obviously the AO and/or USOpen/YEC. So excited for her to play Stuttgart again, definitely one of my favorite tournaments. Maria has made the claycourt season my favorite part of the year

It's not like it was much better the years before The colour of the clay is irrelevant anyway; if the surface is as shoddily-produced and slippery as it was this year, it will still be unplayable and the tournament will be an unholy mess again.

Re: Maria's 2013 Schedule
Good schedule. I agree that Madrid isn't really necessary.

Re: Maria's 2013 Schedule
I can see her playing all of those.
Still if she's missing any it will be Brisbane if she feels she needs another couple of weeks training or Madrid.
I don't think health providing she'll miss more than one. She'll probably skip one of Toronto/Cinci or else Tokyo.
