Re: Which Group Will End Up With More Success?
the only player among all these mugs who deserves some (really more than some)credit is Petra Kvitova. But her main problem is that she doesn't have champion's character, looks too amateurish in interviews, too kind and peaceful. It's good in normal life but in sport she should learn to be a fighter....
I still think she with her superior in her generation power and talent will be a more accomplished player than Pusherenka , who will always struggle with her "lack of talent". But Petra really needs her "Ivan Lendl" , who will push her career....

Maybe she gave professional interviews those two weeks and it translated into on court tennis success.

it's not compulsory to have champion's character to win Major..... Stosur, Ivanovic, Myskina all won Slams
But it's important to stay at the top, crush all locals on the way to big matches in SF and Finals . Pusherenka just with training all year long to be as consistent as ball striking machine and champions character is staying at the top despite not that much gifted from mother nature , except phisical abilities....
Petra at the same time being much more talented is less persistent, too lazy and not that much impassioned for wins

Re: Which Group Will End Up With More Success?
She's a champion, so she has mentality of a champion. No one gifts those trophies for professional interviews (lol). You don;t know what are her setbacks that prevent her from repeating similar success.
And Azarenka not being gifted

Re: Which Group Will End Up With More Success?
Well balanced groups! Group B for me and I would love to see Aga, Woz, Kerber and Barthel win a slam in the future

Need more votes. I thought group A will get way more votes than group B.

Re: Which Group Will End Up With More Success?
Players in group B has more potential than A, but A has more success now. For me B will be better. Kvitova is material for No.1, Radwanska and Kerber TOP 3, Barthel TOP 10, Cirstea TOP 20.

You sure? Although everyone will think I am crazy, I have to say my bets between Azarenka's and Kvitova's overall carreer success are going in Kvitova's favour. By the end of her career I excpect from Kvitova to win at least 4 or 5 Grand slams, and I don't think Azarenka will do it. In fact, I think Azarenka will not be so powerfull ever again, like she was in 2012, but will probably win one or two GS in next couple of years. Wozniacki will probably have more success than Radwanska in a years to come, but Kerber will do much more than Errani, who is, in my opinion one and a half season girl. So... Group B.

Re: Which Group Will End Up With More Success?
undecided, maybe group 1. pavlyuchenkova has big potential and i'm waiting for her to make a break through.
radwanska is overrated big time but unlike queen vulture wozniacki i do think she could sneak a slam if the stars align so i don't know.

No, you are not crazy at all. I think most would agree that Petra has more potential/talent than Vika so it won't be that surprising to see her having better career than Vika when everything is said and done.

I actually kind of agree with your post. I don't agree with the 'no-champion' comment, as she is about 9-2 in WTA finals, which means she definitely steps it up in the biggest matches and likes winning titles.
As for the Lendl comment, she allegedly texts/consults frequently with her compatriot Pavel Složil, who won the Golden Slam with Steffi Graf.
Anyway we'll see, nobody has a crystal ball.
