played a guy at the club recently.

Won 6-4,7-6 (10-8)

Had to come from a break down in both sets. He was good, but easily frustrated so kinda melted when things weren't going his way for a while. When he regained focus he outplayed me again and broke. But i played my best game to break back to make it 2-2. He lost focus again, and i had B.P oppertunities, but couldn't take them. It got close again, and went to a tiebreak. He had set points, but netted an easy forehand and got frustrated. I took over and closed it out.

I said to him at the handshake "Don't be so hard on yourself. Your good. Don't let silly mistakes get to you"

I Always try to be respectful to my opponents. My on court attitude is comparable to Del Potro. He was a good guy when i spoke to him after. Just lets things get to his head too easily.

He asked for a rematch, and i said i'll be happy to do so.

So we are Playing again this weekend. that should be fun.

My tennis got rained out this Saturday .

I won the rematch 7-6,6-7,6-4

I didn't drop a point on serve in the first set I was on fire with my serve. It was either an ace, an unreturnable, my serve forced an easy volley for me, or he returned shot so i could step in and hit a winner.

I didn't face a B.P all match, while i had 2 oppertunitys and i took 1. In the rallys he was hitting to my backhand a lot, so i leaked a lot of errors in the 2nd set, especially in the 2nd set tiebreak.

He didn't play badly, and i didn't play great. I just served better than him, and it was too much for him to handle. The rallys were in his favour

lost 36 75 [8-10] to one of the most bitchiest players I have ever met.

After I beat him in doubles at the handshake he squeezed me hand. Then during the singles he was like 'come on' on every single fucking point! Including my double faults.... Then the ball is clearly out and he asked for the mark and I was like 'theres no mark' and he just gave me this look. Then I saved some MP at 63 53 and had a 8-4 lead in STB Then I claimed that he did a 'Liezel Huber' and it double bounce and he said it didn't....

Won today 2-6 7-6(11) [10-0]

The guy was a massive choker, he lead 6-2 4*-1 40-0, and I came back to lead 5-4 in the second, dropping like 2 points, he then held to level at 5-5 and broke my serve after a huge game. Serving for the match at 6-5 he was op 40-15 and choked, I saved the first MP with a huge return winner then he DF in the time break he was up 6-3 then 7-6 then 9-8, 10-9 and 11-10. I felt so bad for him, he was completely mentally exhausted in the STB but he took it fairly well and I was nice at the handshake

I lost 2-6 1-6 in singles today .I guess I was a bit out of practice, having been rained on last Saturday but my game was has a few problems I need to sort. There was this one cool moment I did an emergency moonball and won the point, that was fun.

I also lost in doubles, so this was my first time (fourth overall) without a win in either .

It was against a player I normally have trouble with and sometimes lose but I think my serve being more fast and effective now has stopped more break points appearing. My backhand has also improved majorly I can actually hit winners now

Won R2 6-2 6-2
Lost QF Withdraw (I couldn't play the match as scheduled)

A week later I took that momentum and won my first USTA 8.0 Mixed Doubles match! 6-4 2-6 7-6(2)
