Those are just momentary lapses.
You'll notice that immediately afterwards, she's back to 'Destroy-Mode'.

Good point. It's sick with the amount of hate that he has been spilling. The boi has no shame at all. I don't even bother read his posts, but they just pop up everywhere just like mushrooms after rains. That makes this board a very unpleasant place to visit.

Ok we know you are still mourning, we understand. So what Serena did at the 2004 US Open wasn't classy. And remember when she lost to Clijsters US Open 2009 after the point penalty she even said that no one should take the win away from Kim as she is not at fault. At the US Open 2011 she even said that Stosur played really well and didn't take anything away from her. And how she held her composure after Stosur cheated her at Sydney when it was a let cord and Stosur knew it and didn't admit it. And at Indian Wells being booed why you are playing and remain classy. And if her opponent makes a good shot she applauds them.

Nope, no one was ever robbed like her in the US Open 2004. No umpire will overrule a ball that is inside the line and was called-in at the farthest line from the umpire. I mean no umpire, well maybe Alves on Serena.

And like I said that's totally irrelevant, what happened in 2004 (and the umpire then) had nothing to do with 09 and 11 and the ppl that were involved then.
|
It is totally relevant for Serena as much us Indian Wells is relevant until today, Where Indian Wells is trying everything just to get them back except accepting it was their fault everything happened the way it did.

Well i think Azarenka, Sharapova, and Stosur wishes Serena doesn't respect them enough that Serena will not go into the match with game face on.

Mistaking Serena for Venus. If we are talking about shrieking Serena doesn't shriek Venus does.

Re: Who are the least classiest players on tour?
Class has so many levels. Part of it is about playing fair. Part of it is giving your opponents credit at the end of the match. Part of it is treating the umpires, ball kids, and linespeople with respect. Part of it is giving it your best for the fans who paid their money to watch star athletes.
I've always been taught that at the end of a match or competition, you look your opponent in the eye and say, 'Good match'. You don't have to be kissing and hugging everyone, but a civil 'good match' is quite sufficient.
I don't really have an exact opinion on who is classy, but I know of a few instances that I consider 'unclassy'. Obviously 'the hand' was an unclassy moment, as was the 2006 Australian Open F when it seemed like Justine quit and got injured out of nowhere and robbed Mauresmo of her 'moment'. The Sharapova/Serena YEC F in 2004 - when Maria won the match against a clearly injured opponent and starts yelling and screaming and hugging her dad as if Serena was fit and the match was beyond tough at the end (which it wasn't).
I don't consider the 2004 US Open QF unclassy, at all. Serena was robbed of many points in the deciding set, and rightfully so. I do, however, think she doesn't give credit to her opponents enough, even when credit is due. Serena and her fans seem to think that Serena always plays at 10% when she loses, when there are some matches where she has just had to say 'too good' and that be that.
Sharapova gives credit to her opponents, as does Kim. So, I enjoy both of them for that. Venus is a God in the sport.

Ok do all these things erase her the zillion times she has acted like an ass? I don't think so.

Have you seen every tennis match that ever happened?? Venus was probably robbed in a worse way at Wimbledon against Sprem actually and hardly even reacted. And anyway this is irrelevant like I said, 09 and 11 have nothing to do with 04 and if Serena blows up all the time because of some stuff that happened an eternity ago and that has nothing to do with the situation, it still makes her classless and she still needs anger management classes.

Why would it be relevant? It's not the entire USO organisation that made that call in 2004, only one person, if Serena wants to start blaming ppl for what someone else did, not only is she classless but also childish and deranged.
