1- Justice can be wrong and someones innonce can still be proven 30 years after thanks to advanced technology
2- Service a lifetime in prison is way worse than die IMO.

Agreed with point number 1.

But California's prisons are way overcrowded (which is why I also voted to eliminate the 3 strikes law) and we need to start taking out the garbage. Prisoners who have committed the most disgusting crimes have a better life than homeless people/lower class families.

Right but first of all, prison don't do anything to some of them and secondly, there has to be something worse than prison or death to punish them. We must find it.

Yes. I mean... Don't you think that someone who raped teenagers or something like that should be punished?

Killing is always wrong to me. Bottom line. There are so many arguments when it comes down to criminal law and prison. This is a touchy subject and people tend to let their feeling take over.

As a muslim, I truly believe that. And yeah, I agree that people tend to let their feeling take over. But what are they suppose to do? I know if something like this would happen to someone I know, I would have a hard time letting it go. I would because I'm a very religious person but on the moment, (a little bit like Serena described her feelings after she learned for Yetunde. ) I would be nuts.

It's really a case by case issue when deciding who should face the death penalty and who shouldn't but there's tons of sick fucks on California's death row who deserve to be removed from this Earth. The only reason I'm voting to repeal it is because the last person who was killed was back in 2006. Might as well not even have it.
