No way will she play both Charleston and Stuttgart and both Doha and Dubai. And if she goes deep at RG again I doubt she'd play Birmingham. I hope she does start playing the post-OZ Middle Eastern swing though. Other than that I agree.

Re: Maria's 2013 Schedule

  1. Brisbane International
  2. Australian Open
  3. Qatar Open, Doha
  4. Indian Wells Open
  5. Sony Ericsson Open, Miami
  6. Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Stuttgart
  7. Mutua Madrilena Madrid Open
  8. Internazionali BNL d'Italia, Rome
  9. French Open
  10. Wimbledon
  11. Bank of the West Classic, Stanford
  12. Roger's Cup, Toronto
  13. Cincinnati Open
  14. US Open
  15. Toray Pan Pacific Open, Tokyo
  16. China Open, Bejing
  17. Sony Ericsson Championships, Istanbul

The options could be to remove Doha if she needed more rest and needed to attend Fashion Week and the Vanity Fair after party I would also possibility remove Stanford or Toronto for the purpose of not being too tired by the time the US Open comes around.

Why almost all of you predict Brisbane International? Did she ever participate in it?

Indian Wells
Miami
Stuttgart

Re: Your views of Maria's 2013 schedule

@ the OP: I see you like to talk about players' schedules, you opened a lot of threads about it

Quote:
Brisbane International
Australian Open

Dubai Tennis Championships
Qatar Open, Doha
Indian Wells Open
Sony Ericsson Open, Miami

Family Circle Cup, Charleston
Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Stuttgart
Mutua Madrilena Madrid Open
Internazionali BNL d'Italia, Rome
French Open
Aegon Classic, Birmingham
Wimbledon

Bank of the West Classic, Stanford
Roger's Cup, Toronto
Cincinnati Open
US Open

Toray Pan Pacific Open, Tokyo
China Open, Bejing
Sony Ericsson Championships, Istanbul
These are enough to keep points (Brisbane and Doha where she didn't play this year) and if she really wants to try to win Wimbledon like she said, better go with a long grass season (depending on how deep she's going at RG)

What's the rule on Olympic eligibility? Is it 2 ties for all 4 years prior to 2016 or just 2 ties for 2015 and 2016? Just trying to figure out if Maria (potentially) not playing next year means she doesn't want to qualify for Rio or if she's just being Lazy-American-Pova.
