I had a meeting with my advisor today and he said I need to start considering which med schools I want to apply to. After I finished hyperventilating he told me, and I quote, "It's gonna fucking suck for a while but you learn to handle it." He said he smoked a shit ton of weed in med school

My issue is just how long the process is. I can handle a heavy course load, but I'm basically gonna be in school until I'm 30.

Dunno if we have the same program in Canada and US, but here, it's just called a pre-med study. It's pretty easy so far (except the amount of work you have to put in every week )

It's not just science subjects that you have to take. We have all the GER like writing class, greek & latin class, language classes, etc throughout the 4 year course

Advice? I think you should better consult with pre-health advisers and the alike But are you already in undergrad or about to get into one?
