Görges würde ich auch noch dazu zählen. Um ehrlich zu sein sehe ich das geringste Potential. Aber ja nach Draw würde ich allen Fünf ein GS Titel zutrauen, halte es aber genauso wahrscheinlich das keine von ihnen einen gewinnt.

Hab ich mir auch so gedacht als ich das gesehen hab. Schon bitter, sie nimmt nix mit und Errani hat sogar noch die Chance weiter zu kommen.

Angelique

The stupid schedule ruined Angelique`s chance to beat Li. Angelique looked very tired. Such an intense long match with Azarenka the day before where Angelique gave everything she had. Then there was nothing left in the tank vs Li. Not the ending Angelique deserved. She looked exhausted, was several steps too slow. And the serve was very weak. Hope Angelique has a nice off-season now.

Natürlich war es ein großer Faktor, dass Kerber gegen Li nichts ausrichten konnte, aber was sollten die Organisatoren machen? Klar, man hätte Errani und Stosur beginnen lassen können, aber ob Kerber dann bei nem 1-2 stündigen späteren Start fitter gewesen wäre.
Der Turnierplan sieht eben drei Matches pro Tag vor. Und Radwanska und Sharapova spielen zu lassen, wäre ja auch noch unfairer gewesen, da sie 1. noch etwas länger spielten und 2. erst nach 2 Uhr Ortszeit das Match beendeten.

Stimmt natürlich auch wieder. Wenn Angie das Match gegen Azarenka im Zeiten zugemacht hätte, wäre es nicht so lang gewesen und auch früher zu Ende, dann hätte auch alles wieder gepasst. Konnte man ja auch nicht unbedingt mit Rechnen, dass die da so ein Marathon aufführen, Sharapova und Radwanska danach natürlich genauso. Nen Tag vorher waren die Spiele um 22 Uhr beendet und da halt erst Nachts um Zwei. Sicher auch ein Grund, warum Tennis bei den TV Anstalten nicht gerade Superbeliebt ist.

Erstmal war es Pech, dass Angelique in der megaschweren Gruppe war. Aber dann kam nochmal Pech hinzu mit der Spielansetzung. Dienstag gegen Serena, Mittwoch gegen Azarenka, Donnerstag gegen Li. Ohne einen Tag Pause. Härter geht es nicht. Und das Match gegen Li war das erste des Tages. Angelique musste 3 Tage in Folge ran, und zwar erst die beiden harten Matches. Dann das Match gegen Li, wenn sie abgekämpft ist. Ein riesen Nachteil. Das Match mit Azarenka war mörderisch. Man kann sagen Azarenka hat Angelique für Li praktisch totgekämpft. Nah dem 4-2 in Satz 1 gegen Li war Angelique völlig ko. Mental und vor allem körperlich. Schwacher Aufschlag, zu langsame Beine. Der Tank war nun ganz leer. Ein gefundenes Fressen für Li.

Wenn Errani das jetzt gewinnt und danach sieht es ja im Moment aus, dann kann ihre Position 5 ja noch mal in Gefahr geraten und ich denke Most Improved Player ist dann auch weg.

Sie hat jetzt ja auch zum Glück nicht gewonnen, aber wenn die ins Halbfinale gekommen wäre und das evtl. warum auch immer noch gewönnen hätte, wäre die WTA wohl kaum drum herum gekommen.

Gibt's irgendwo im Netz DAS Match zum Download mit Englischen Commies (Russisches hab ich gefunden, die nerven aber so schrecklich)? Würds gern nochmal sehen. Stimmung im Sinan Erdem Dome war gewaltig. Einfach unglaublich das Match!
