Doesn't help that they've both got pretty average partners here.

They did have a split. It was a big thing.
Playing together would not necessarily help their rankings as they were confidence players with not huge games and by the end they wouldn't have enjoyed playing together at all.

Sally is most definitely back on the right track. Looking back at her year it's not actually as bad as I thought most of her losses have been to decent opponents. Good win over Sabina who is quite talented.
Jess ditto, starting to show that she's back in it for real. Olivia just got taken to a TB by Nives Jess might spring an upset.

Re: $25,000 Traralgon (AUS) 2012 | Oct 22 (Draws)
Sally could do well here. She is almost certain to beat either Long or Keir in the next round. If she plays Liv in the QF I reckon she will win as she seemed to have the edge over Liv in most of their previous senior matches. If she plays her cards right, this could be the tournament to turn things around for her.
Great for Jess to beat Karo so easily. Must feel good after their last meeting when the roles were reversed.

Agreed. Olivia seems to be a bit over it also judging by that first set score toady I'd also favour Sally in that match. Although I really want Olivia to get DE in to Melbourne so hopefully Liv can get through it.

I was really suprised to see that in their 3 matches against each other, Olivia has never won a set off Sally (never once played each other in juniors).
However, same deal with Karo vs Jess. Jess had never won a set off Karo (also in 3 meetings). I have a feeling we'll see the same pattern with Olivia & Sally. Despite their head 2 head, I'd be shocked if Sally beat Olivia this week.
