No info about Kaia K. yet...
KAIA HAS TO WITHDRAW FROM KREMLIN CUP
After Korea Open, Kaia felt some pain in her right heel and now is also forced to skip the WTA tournament in Moscow.
Kaia’s own words: „After tough practices my right heel still hurts. When I qualify for Sofia, of course I would like to play. But there is nothing certain. I just want my legs to be ok. I am doing physical trainings and get laser treatment form my heels twice a day. We’ll see how that works. Later this week I will go and show the pictures of my heels also to a specialist in Finland. Then we can make a decision here about the future treatment if needed.”

Of course. Why wouldn't she?
It's another potential title/notch under her belt.
When you really think about it, why would a player that we abuse--so often--of not caring about Grand Slams, thumb her nose at Sofia?  
Can you say title #21, and a potential new Air Bulgaria Sophia winner ("What Airline Does The Sophia Tournament Of Champions Winner Fly")?
I repeat; of course she'll be there (unless there's a high paying exhibition in Tijuana, Botswana, Montenegro, Reykjavík Iceland or some where else)  .

Zheng Jie replaces Kaia Kanepi.
Daniela Hantuchova replaces Venus Williams.

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) today announced the eight players who will contest the Qatar Airways Tournament of Champions Sofia, the annual seasonending championships for the WTA’s International tournaments, taking place in Bulgaria’s capital
