Q. I have two questions. The first one is in this year, are you going to participate in the Sofia tournament? Second, for next‑round opponent, how are you going to try to prepare for next round and what's your evaluation for her?
CAROLINE WOZNIACKI: You know, first of all, I don't know if I'm going to play in Sofia, depending if I make it to Istanbul or not. If I don't make it to Istanbul, then I will play in Sofia. But if I make it to Istanbul, I will not play there. It all depends. Right now I don't know.
I haven't really thought about my next opponent yet. We will have to wait and see until tomorrow. Right now I'm just happy I went through and won my first match, which was quite a struggle.

Ithink if they tell them she has a chance to be in YE TOP 10, she will play...

But ithink they wait to make the desition untill the start of the Big YEC tuesday start if one may withdrew.....

I don't think she necessarily means she won't play more in 2012, just that the season is almost over (Moscow was the last Premier tournament).

I think she'll take part in Sofia. She's now doing very well and there is another chance to win a title and play some tricky opponents ( if Venus wins today she might play there,too,is that right?)

Venus and Serena have planned a Tour in Africa in the Sofia week, so i don't think Venus plays in Sofia.

Shame,but there will be a good field to compete against, anyway. Having mentioned Venus, she's now very close to winning a title,too. Pretty cool that after so many injuries she's come back like this.

Same here. I was really up for Caro doing well at the Kremlin Cup and winning it I was so wanting her to win. But I can't get excited about Sofia.

I really don't care whether she plays Sofia or not. The only thing I would want is if she does play there (and I think she will), I would want her to give it her all and really try to win what would be title #21. If she were to turn up at Sofia and give a half hearted performance - that would just leave a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth after her title and play in Moscow.

Weird. I was a little "meh" about her playing Seoul but I quite hope that she plays Sofia, especially with the new format. She can get some good wins there and hopefully win it.

Caro's YEC points from last year fall of now, so she needs a very good showing in sofia, if not a win, to end the year at #10. She has something to play for.

Pointless it is, but it remains a golden opportunity to face several players ranked inside the Top30, players against whom she struggled all year long. From my POV, its a good tournament to test herself. Plus, its still a tournament and therefore a chance to win a new title.

More importantly, it's an occasion to beef up her ranking in order to avoid the best players in the first turns of her tournaments.

All in all, I hope she will be in Sofia.

Being local, it's easy to appreciate where you're coming from. But leaving aside, you might personally have a chance to see mini YEC, this whole post real YEC 'mini' tournament, is a bit of a damp squid - imho.

There are some news in local media quoting her from today, confirming she will play, but i can't find the original source

"Разбира се, в началото на сезона се надявах, че ще се класирам за Истанбул, но това е спорт и този път не успях да попадна сред осемте най-силни. Затова ще играя в България, където ще се постарая да покажа добър тенис, а след това ще се отдам на заслужена почивка и подготовка за следващия сезон", коментира Возняцки.

my translation goes by:
"Of course i was hoping at the start of the season, that i will qualify for Istanbul, but this is sport and this time i didn't make it to the top 8. Therefor i will play in Bulgaria, where i will try to show my best, and then i give myself a deserved break and preparations for the next season"
