What to say about Azarenka then? She plays one match to avoid a zero pointer, then she retires and leaves the draw loopsided. Not only that some lower-ranked player could've gotten the place in the draw, but it also increases the chances of getting a fluke semifinalist of Premier event.

She shorten the take-back motion, a little bit like the Lena's serve in 2010 and Mauresmo's in 2006, and she made two dfs in her first two service points...

Jelena changed her serve motion? Why?

Agree! Azarenka does it pretty often. This year a little less, I never would participate on a Tournament knowing I can't play. And Peng knew it! So I would bring some new rules into it!

She positioned her Right arm in a semi swing, than tosses the ball up and hits it! I think it's quite better! The 1st serve seemed faster and more precise! But it seems like this serve can just be flat, I don't know if it can be a slice to push the trainer out of the court!
I really missed the fact Venus is in the upper part of the draw! Let's see if we will get an epic JJ vs Venus showdown!

Her average first serve has been getting progressively faster over the years. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that her first serve is now faster than Ana's. But I don't feel that she's taking an advantage of her improved serve. I noticed that she often gets in a good position after good first serve, but can't finish the point. It's a mindset. If she wants to play differently, she'll have to think differently.
Someone mentioned 2 dfs. Does it mean that she's trying to hit the second serve too flat?

Lol she's probably gonna go Bartoli on us and hit second serves faster than first serves
