Well it looks like Beth will not be getting revenge this week, as she withdrew from her match against Murguruza.

Wonder where she goes next?

Probably on her way home. I suspect she's done for the year. She's made it into qualies for the AO. Hope she tries to play Auckland Q's next year. She can't play Hobart like she would like to because of the AO qualies.

Yeah

, but the USTA has let a few "older" players who have been injured have a shot at slam WC's in the past. Especially on the mens side, Ginepri comes to mind

It is for 1.Younger players and 2.Players that don't have a sufficient enough ranking to get into the MD.

It would be awesome for Beth to come play there. I would get tickets then. I went last year, Great Event!!!
