Re: Beijing F: Azarenka def. Sharapova 6-3, 6-1
Ouch. Sharapova seems to have resigned herself to being Azarenka's carpet.

Why are you giving him any attention. Just ignore it, so he doesn't feel the need to keep posting.

IKR. The funniest thing is he's a Jankovic fan. What was her career highlight this year? Losing to Oudin in a grass final?

Wow, the insecurity is don't be mad at the fact that a 30+ player, missing part of a lung, well past her physical prime, is having the best year on tour even while this gas been Sharapova and Azarenka's best year ever. What speaks volumes is that this even includes Serena having a 1r exit on her resume.

expected result for the highest paid woman in sports...
I'd like to see a new player step up and get herself in the mix for big titles soon.

Re: Beijing F: Azarenka def. Sharapova 6-3, 6-1
I did say I expected Azarenka to win but boy it was almost like Maria had returned to the way she was with Azarenka in AO and Indian Wells finals. Because I expected Maria to produce some decent quality play like in USO semifinal. I guess Vika has learned her way to beat Maria convincingly again, like how Serena knows how to dominate Maria. Nonetheless, Congrats to Vika for winning the second premiere mandatory title, and Maria for reaching third premiere mandatory finals (maybe next time, Mash). Another defeat of the world no.2 by the hand of the world no.1.

Well that still doesn't mean that her average level is better than Maria's and it's not at all. Compare their results and scorelines against other players. Azarenka is just a bad matchup for Maria on hard courts.
