Basically the FIA eliminated Vettel from being a contender for the championship.
Way out of line. Last year no one was punished when the exact same scenario happened between the two drivers (Vettel had to go over the grass in order to pass Alonso, yet it was treated as normal racing and no one talked about Vettel being squeezed).
Seems that Jean Toad acting as if he's still working for his former employer
Except in 2011 Alonso left Vettel a good amount of space...
Anyway, it's a no brainer penalty following the defensive driving clarification back in July.
Vettel's retirement has set him back in the title race, not the penalty. I'd still say he's the favourite, even though the momentum is with McLaren at the moment. The Red Bull is faster than the Ferrari, Sebastian has a calmer head and better race brain than Hamilton and Button is too far behind in the points to realistically win.

I am geniunely surprised at Hamilton's move to Mercedes...I always thought he will never ever leave McLaren Wonder what triggered his decision to switch teams? Hopefully Perez can perform in a McLaren, nice to see him get a good car for once
Over the last race, 2 races, 3 races, 4 races and even 5 races Felipe has gained more points than Fernando overall. Yes he's only had one podium during that time but his form has improved so much!
Anyway Felipe is my fave driver and so proud and happy for him today, hope this is the start of something new! Also so happy Kimi took out Fernando and now Sebastian is looking good for the title and than Kamui's first podium came at home, great achievement and 3 great guys on the podium!
