I mean the WTA is clearly more up to date than the ITF, the ITF still host the slams in NYC, London, Paris and Melbourne. Clearly Beijing, Kinshasa, Florianopolis and Baku would be better locations. These are the "emerging markets" after all.

First the WTA brought the big tounaments to Asia, and now the fans have to move to Africa to be able to watch them on TV. Sounds like a winning formula to me

I'm sure the millions of WTA fans in Africa can't wait the arrival of the WTA to MCS.

MCS is a French TV channel that covers several sports; they will create another channel which will be fully dedicated to tennis. MCS has been covering a few International and ATP 250s for the last few years. From what I've read, it will be available on cable and satellite, but on the Internet as well, which could be good. I mean, LSHunter, hahasport, lemonsport...will be destroyed by the FBI sooner than later.

I'm so devastated by this news. Was about to subscribe to the cable which will air ES channel.

Re: News confirmed: No tennis on Eurosport in 2013 outside the slams
On the other hand Eurosport here not showing live the Beijing final (even on ES 2) is unacceptable.
Good riddance.

Yesterday commentators said that British ES supposedly shows it live and on others it would be delayed to 14.30

Re: News confirmed: No tennis on Eurosport in 2013 outside the slams
But just sad in week with mens tournaments at the same time or joint PMan/1000, but in Danmark this week Cmore / Canal 8 showed the mens from one turnering og CMore tennis from other tournering...

Re: News confirmed: No tennis on Eurosport in 2013 outside the slams
Haha, in Sweden that means virtually no WTA or at least the coverage is very limited. C More with ATP rights won't move the men's matches out of the way, because of these matches. And rightly so.

Men det var en af 2 ''under'' Ingen WTA tennis i 2013 eller WTA tennis på CMore Tennis / Cmore Sport or Canal 8 i Skandinavien...
