QF: 300 (163 pts)
SF: 300 (165 pts)
RU: 295-300 (167 pts)
W: 295 (171 pts)

It shows how little effect a good $10K result has on a player ranked this high.

Still, I'm glad Ana played. She needed some more match practice and Solin was not a long trip for her.

Because Solin is basically "in front of her door". She doesn't have to travel anywhere to play it. It can be good practice + she can earn some pts and money that will make her progress at least a little bit easier.

that was my reaction too on first look, but then i started thinking why would she do that. She probably doesn't have much money to travel outside Europe and there is no 25K and 50K events in Europe that week. It would be very hard for her in Ismanning or Poitiers (if she would even make it into qualies).
