Yup, was for me. Snow White. It was re-released for some reason or another, I was reeally young. I remember going to see the Hunchback of Notre Dame also. Those were the only two I saw in the cinema.

Hunchback is my favorite, but Hercules and Pocahontas are close seconds.

Love this film. I've always thought it an underrated gem.
Abigail, Amelia and Uncle Waldo slay me every time I watch this - even to date.

Garbage. I can't even create an argument against this, because you're either 15 or just the weirdest person I've ever seen.
Hard to rank them, but Aladdin/Lion King/Little Mermaid were the ones I have best memories of as a kid.

Golden era?
I prefer this era, Toy Story, Nemo, Wall-E, Pocahontas 2.

Please, Toy Story falls under this same era. It was released in 1995 and it's Disney+Pixar so it doesn't count

I agree These Disney movies of late 1980s to late 1990s are better than the Disney+Pixar ones imo.
They are all classics and the stories and characters are just so memorable. Not the case for Disney+Pixar movies for me.

This says it best - to everyone who wants to pretend that CARS is better than these Disney films...

Re: What is your favorite Disney movie from its golden era (late 1980s - late 1990s)?
I know this is probably mostly childhood nostalgia, but I find it hard to empathise with the CGI animated characters. Even in a movie like Finding Nemo, which was funny and I quite liked, I never really felt a connection with any of the characters in the way that I did for, say The Fox and the Hound or Lion King
[Edit]: It's weird that Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi were all made during WWII

Exactly! None of the characters from Pixar are as memorable as the classic Disney ones.
But, I think Disney is back on track with "The Princess and The Frog" and "Tangled" (Rapunzel).
