I hope it will be one of the new cast member that will win it. THe 3 returnees are really annoying to me. They brought back 3 similar characters. Cocky, arrogant men. Mike was stupid enough to think that he didn't faint in the fire but simply choked on the smoke or something? yes right man! lol TBF I don't remember much of Jonathan Penner beside that he seemed quite irrelevant. Russel was a good chief but it was clearly getting into his head and he became super cocky. I saw an interview of him eearlier and he said that he wasn't a threat cuz he was a chief, was stupid enough to chose comfort over tarp (I think?) and that he wasn't even able to take care of himself to drink enough water?. Right, I don't know who you're trying to convince, you or the others. Seriously I don't think those 3 will pay any big roles cuz beside Penner (I think) the 2 others were rubbish in terms of strategy. Penner was kinda bad in the social game I think. Not wishing anyone any disaster but I'd find it utterly funny if at least one of those 3 would be taken out due to medical condition again. Maybe Mike can fall off a tree and he'll say that a mosquito choked him?

The show always had Conservative undertones in my opinion, hardly a surprise that the casting is more openly conservative.

I was thinking the same. Bringing back Stephanie wasn't even a big deal. My theory is that either the woman doesn't wanna come back or they don't want a women to be one of the best of all time. I'm sure Kim could win another season and even Pavarti and I still think Brenda and Andrea should be given another shot.

5 females is not the same as one male returnee per tribe. It's a different dynamic. They clearly gives more "power" to a male returnee than to a female. Let's face it, when you only have one returnee per tribe, it's gonna be the leader or at least the player where the tribe revolve around. Either it's gonna be to eliminate it as soon as possible or it's gonna be to take his lead and follow his instruction. Having 5 females returnee is good but they won't have as much power, unless they have 5 tribes? lol doubtful! 5 returnees seems a lot for a season tho, it's like half of a tribe...Will there be more returnees?
I know who I'll root for after the 1st episode. I knew right away that Kim and Chelsea were the one to watch last season and fell in love wiht them when they were chasing the chicken
