She's not on any of the upcoming US ITF Entry Lists. So, I'm guessing she'll be heading to Asia for the WTA Tourney's.

I hope. I wonder if she will play in Linz, Luxembourg, or Moscow? Or stay in Asia? It would be awesome if she got her ranking up, and make it to Sofia! That would be amazing! Anyways, if she is playing Asia, I would imagine she is in qualies in most-if not all-of the events, because she isn't entered in the MD entry list. But hopefully she will get some much needed wins in Quebec!!

I saw it on twitter. I actually think it would've been better for her to play. She needs to play herself into form, she won't find that on the practice court. GL in the QF Mel.

Bad loss against Mladenovic. Melanie needs to go away and work hard on the areas that went wrong.

I always wonder when a player gets a walkover whether that does them more harm than good. Yes she got the extra ranking points and money, but it has to throw your rhythm off to not play that extra day.

Yeah I guess she doesnt play this week which will be good for rest!

Congrats on being in the top 100 again Mel! Take it step by step from here.

A couple more wins this year and she should definitely have secured a main draw spot at the Aussie Open!
