It's ridiculous. I personally don't even think the seats from the upper part of Ash are bad at all.

You can't see the ball in certain conditions from the promenade level of Ashe. That's a fact.
There's a way to get into the promenade level of Ashe during day session with grounds pass only, if you take the fire stairs all the way up. There are hardly any ushers there. As for going down from the promenade level, you can't really do it unless someone lets you. Also, those $1000 tickets are usually purchased by corporations who give them away to their employees. That's how you get good seats, not by cashing out a thousand bucks

I've never snuck down from the promenade level of ash but I have snuck into the first row of Armstrong for Vikas match.

People at the Open are really nice so it's not that hard.

I wonder if I am the only one who feels...about this photo...whatever it was, it served its purpose at the time. But we have so much of the real Maria available in photos, both on and off court, that this one seems...irrelevant in some way.
