Re: Jelena's Schedule II
Who knows? But I don't think it necessarily means anything ominous that Pleming's coaching another Aussie. What else should she do if Jelena's been out rehabbing an injury? I doubt she'd mind being asked a question about a player she used to coach.

Scary thought. Australian summer without Dokic hype? I can't even think of it

Re: Jelena's Schedule II
Louise is a shit coach anyway, Jeca had average results at best under Pleming - and she was actually fit.
l'd almost rather Borna back.

Re: Jelena's Schedule II
It's true she's never had good results at a tournament whenever Louise has been around.
I experience her style too mixed/top-spin/slice for Jelena's game anyway.
I also want Borna back, or Damir tbh.
Say what you want but those 2 know her game best.

Let's not forget her favourite saying to start each year "My goal this year is top 20" after she beats Victoria Duval 6-3 7-5 in AO R1.

That goal would be absolutely realistic if it wasn't for all her injuries. I mean, when was the last time she could play a full season?

This.
Just a year ago, she was 45 in the world, with basically only the first half of 2011.
Leave Jelena alone. She's a very talented player and she's proven what she can do, without injuries.
If her wrist is ok (and no other injuries) she could definitely do it again in 2013.

Re: Jelena's Schedule II
Depends what she comes back like....anything less than excellent shape and it will be hard for her at this point in her career.

She's talented, but you can't fight age. Every comeback is going to be harder and harder because she's getting older and more susceptible to injury. All of us for the most part wish for a successful return but she's already has a few of those, culminating with her KL win.
Being fit will probably help prolong her career. The wrist is a really unfortunate injury because it has nothing to do with her fitness level.

Whatever with this bitch. December is going to be so much fun. I've missed the enjoyment of Jelena playing the WC Play-Off.

Re: Jelena's Schedule II
No return in the upcoming month, as Jelena is not on the Q list for Tokyo nor Beijing.
Expected.
Now let's wait for the indoors ITF's starting mid-October, but that's really doubtful too tbh.

Re: Jelena's Schedule II
I feel like she's gotta come back as Ballbasherlena.
At this point in her career i think its the only option. Rallying and playing long points is only going to lead to more injuries, she's gonna have to bash it and take the bad losses and move on.
