R16 in Berlin and SF in Linz (another G1). Lost three setters to Kalinina and Mertens respectively.

She was really impressive in Linz this week and really breezed through to the semifinals but as you said lost a tough match to Mertens, 7-6(2) 0-6 6-2.
Hopefully she does well at the European U16 Championships.

That's such an impressive win and a very tight scoreline.
Konjuh's been on fire these past few months.
Hopefully Veronika can keep on going. She plays Dea Herdzelas (BIH) up next in the quarterfinals.

Yeah she still had a great run.
I think her next event is $50,000+H Kazan in Russia starting 13th August where she's in the alternates list but I'm assuming she'll get a QWC.
After that I'm guessing she'll play the Canadian Junior Championships and then the US Open? The lists aren't out for either but I'm assuming she would give them both a go, I think her ranking will be high enough at least for qualifying in New York.

This week Veronika played the European Summer Cups for Russia. Veronika played with Margarita Gasparyan. Russia reached the final beating Belarus 3-0 and Italy 2-1 before losing to Slovak Republic 2-1. In her singles matches Veronika beat Darya Lebesheva (BLR) 7-6(6) 6-2, but lost to Angelica Moratelli (ITA) 7-6(5) 6-4 and Anna Karolina Schmiedlova (SVK) 6-4 6-3.
She's in the qualifying list for $50,000+H Kazan and also for the US Open juniors.

USO juniors. Veronika drew an extremely tough first-round opponent, Alexandra Kiick, and lost to her 57 16.

Veronika's playing G1 Eddie Herr next week. The field is very tough but hopefully she can win a couple of rounds.
