 This always happens to my favorites. They play amazing tennis and then quickly injure themselves. Never fails.
Kournikova-Golovin-Sprem and now Mimi. Sad thing is that Mimi (at age 21) has already made it on tour longer than the first two.  |

Saw her last week and no problem with the ankle feel not confortable to a part of your body is not an injury

Tamira was lucky Azarenka retired, but Montreal QF was a nice result 
A shame Tamira had migraine and had to retire in Cincy R1

with the 6 pts they played, that would have been a close match so... this w/o should not reduce the importance of this performance in Montreal.
We all know that Azarenka was not injured, she just did not want to come. It was pretty obvious. she called trainer when the ref suspended the play.

Is Tamira seeded for the US Open since Schiavone and Pennetta pulled out and her ranking is up to 33? Or were the seedings done before her ranking jumped?
