Looks like Canadians are on fire again. I wouldn't have thought that Abanda and Bouchard will have such good runs here as they just went deep in Roehampton as well and have played quite a lot of matches during these two weeks. They must be very fit

If Anett is not destined to win this, then I hope Genie finally gets that elusive slam

Abanda sure is fit! If she's not injured lol and Genie is as well. Genie won both single and double last week, so that's a lot of tennis! Hopefully she won't lost to Kontaveit again like at RG.

Re: The Junior Championships, Wimbledon, GA

Anett and Indy lost the first set 6-1 to Krejcikova/Rosca
I knew that they probably didn't care that much, but this

Re: The Junior Championships, Wimbledon, GA

Hey guys,

I went along yesterday (Wednesday) to check out some juniors. Here are a few pictures I thought you might be interested in.

Laura Pigossi - she had a pretty limited game but a really positive attitude which made it hard to root against her.

Taylor Townsend - I was pretty underwhelmed by her so her loss in R3 was no surprise, yet she was carrying an injury.

Kontaveit

Elise Mertens

Montserrat Gonzalez

Anna Danilina

Eugenie Bouchard

Nigina Abduraimova - She's grown a lot since I last saw her two years ago.

Elina Svitolina

Alexandra Kiick

Aldila Sutjiadi

Sharif

Petra Uberalova

Viktoriya Lushkova

Elke Lemmens

Feel free to ask any questions.

I had read an article recently where Taylor stated that she had slimmed down, doesn't look like it.

She is very pretty. Grown up so much since they showed her on the Nike Junior Tour Masters on Tennis Channel a few years back. Injuries have stalled her so much though.

Thanks so much for the pictures!
