Am I the only one who isn't bothered by the grunts? Somehow makes things more entertaining and lively!

I don't care either way whether a player grunts but I agree that with certain players grunting makes the match more exciting.

World No. 2 Victoria Azarenka said she was not consulted before the WTA came to an agreement with the Grand Slams and the ITF to develop a handheld device ("a kind of Hawk-Eye for noise") to objectively measure on-court grunting levels in the future. Azarenka is considered to be one of the WTA's loudest grunters.
"Good luck with that," Azarenka told TENNIS.com about the WTA decision.
WTA CEO Stacy Allaster told USA Today that current generation of players will not be affected by the plan.
"I don't know what going to happen, they are trying they are not trying, until they decide something there's nothing to talk about," Azarenka added.

Vika , don't worry , Maria is on your side
PS: just really want to see how she said this "good luck with that" it should be as sarcastic as possible with her face expression that lookes like she is going to kill someone soon

Actually, any smart silent woman would conduct a study proving that grunting is turning away fans from the sport and is therefore diminishing her potential income. She would then sue the daylights off the WTA.
Jankovic needs to pay for her mansion, she should do it.

Yeah, I agree. I think all the grunting just makes the tennis more exciting and entertaining. It's never bothered me at all.

Re: WTA to develop grunt-o-meter, but don't call it that
The grunting never really bothered me that much, until last night. There's lots to admire about Bojana Jovanovski, but her scream crossed the line for me, it was just too loud.
The WTA is just trying to make the game appeal to the widest possible number of people, and it's some of the the general public that seem to have a problem with the noise levels, even if some die hard fans may not. It's a numbers game, upset some hard core fans but potentially gain more casual fans that have been put off by the noise.
