It was! At first I didn't realize it was Ovechkin.. A Dutch guy came up and asked Kiri's dad to take a picture of him and Ovechkin and then it clicked!

Afterwards a guy approached me with the question if I could take a pic of him and Maria, and in return he'd take one of me with her. We asked but she said no because she was busy eating a banana so no success on that department.

I took some pics with my mobile phone, so no super quality nor any close ups since zooming in didn't really work. Should've brought my good camera but alas, too lazy to carry extra stuff. I'll upload them tomorrow after I sort out the good ones and check them on a bigger screen. I'm no good at taking pictures

A funny anecdote; Ovechkin was cheering Maria on.. in Spanish by saying 'vamos Maria'.

Lol, so Kiri will meet Schiavone again. This time I think she'll win even though Schiavone seems in form as I saw them beating Bertens/Rus yesterday.

as pennetta/schiavone had to retire, we do have kiri/nadia in the final

they are going to play in the afternoon/evening, after nadia has got some rest after her win in the singles
