I have mixed feelings about Maria playing Serena at Wimbledon. On the one hand, I want to see Maria beat her in the finals and I know she can if EVERYTHING is in her favour. Her serves, the weather, her ROS, her non-existent game plan etc. On the other hand, Serena brings out her best tennis when she plays Maria like she has something to prove.

I sympathize with MashaFan01's stand.

Not so much about the "Moo" stuff and the epic "cow on ice" comment but from the standpoint of the triteness of the title. It was ok during the mad rush to save SS from infamy of having Abesky as the OP for the W thread. Now, perhaps it's time to rethink the title and install a more elegant one.

Not the biggest deal but a deal. Nonetheless, the most important issue is cheering her on for the first round even if it's over a week before we know exactly who her opponent is. My bet is that it will be either Kim(50) or Venus(47)...

Lol @ you saying what Maria would appreciate or not. Maria called herself a cow in the first place so obviously she has no problem taking this as a joke. And as stegall mentioned before me, it's just an affectionate way of stating the amount of improvement she has brought. You don't need to be so pressed about it.

Honestly it is not a big deal AT ALL. Masha would never read this and if she did I doubt she would care. She knows she has at least 7 million fans around the world and besides it is all in good fun and is a joke
