Re: Grass (finally)
Thank god clay is over BIG points to defend here however... Shes clinging onto her #8 ranking thank god, I thought she lost it. This could be very important for defending her points at Wimbledon. Hope she just lives up to her seedings, that is, SF at Eastbourne and QF at Wimbledon.
Cant waaaait for the hardcourts tournaments afterwards Fuck the Olympics Loads of points to be gained in Stanford, Carlsbad and Montreal. (Montreal is her *good* Canadian tournament, plus apparently a lot of top players wont play it as its right after the Olympics)

Re: Grass (finally)
News from France and some very surprising. Marion was so affected after her loss vs Julia Goerges in Roma that she was decided to find a radical solution. And between Roma and RG, a new coach was called to find some solutions. And this coach is a fft coach, former Cedric Pioline coach when he reached USO finals : Pierre Cherret. This new coaching was just for end of clay season.
And this fft support was criticized by Julien Benneteau on twitter.

Re: Grass (finally)
Benneteau seems like a sexist idiot anyway... Never liked him. Im sure if it was one of his ATP buddies he wouldnt care. Apparently Momo had to deal him a big putdown on French TV when he passed some insult at the WTA.

Re: Grass (finally)
(1)Agnieszka Radwańska (POL) vs Tsvetana Pironkova (BUL)
Petra Cetkovská (CZE) vs Carla Suárez Navarro (ESP)
Tamira Paszek (AUT) vs Marina Erakovic (AUS)
(WC)Anne Keothavong (GBR) vs (8)Daniela Hantuchová (SVK)
(4)Marion Bartoli (FRA) vs Sorana Cîrstea (ROU)
Aleksandra Wozniak (CAN) vs Galina Voskoboeva (KAZ)
Qualifier vs (WC)Heather Watson (GBR)
Tímea Babos (HUN) vs (7)Lucie Šafářová (CZE)
(6)Ana Ivanović (SRB) vs Qualifier
Jie Zheng (CHN) vs Klára Zakopalová (CZE)
Su-wei Hsieh (TPE) vs Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (RUS)
Christina McHale (USA) vs (3)Caroline Wozniacki (DEN)
(5)Angelique Kerber (GER) vs Qualifier
Mona Barthel (GER) vs Chanelle Scheepers (RSA)
Qualifier vs María José Martínez Sánchez (ESP)
Ekaterina Makarova (RUS) vs (2)Petra Kvitová (CZE)
I think Marion could win it again, if she doesn't have to face Radwanska in the semis. Though radwanska has a real tough draw herself.

Re: Grass (finally)
Easy draw to the QF, Safarova is always tough for Marion... Hopefully Cetkovska takes out Radwanska...

Re: Grass (finally)
she's 0-2 against wozniak but grass is quite easily aleks's worst surface so there is no reason for her not to finally get a win over her
hopefully cetovska takes out vulture queen and marion should be able to make the final.

Re: Grass (finally)
Cirstea will be tough in the first round so we should not underestimate her. Marion should go through but if she isn't in top form Cirstea could just hit her off the court.
