Re: On the Concept of Irony w/ Continual Reference to Caro, the #1 Sunshine Queen
Hey Leif,
I understand the point you're making in regards to press, Caro and Bendtner. I just don't agree with it ..
Anyhoo, about FFP and Man Utd.
This is a good page for interested :
http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/
Without going into details, Man Utd doesn't have a fiscal problem.

Not to dismiss your English futbol interests but...could you comment on whether or not that was a real song from the Jeeves&Wooster video I posted(or one concocted for the show)? Not 'Sunny Boy'(or is it 'Sonny Boy'?),but the one that the older guy was singing: "England!England!England!..."

Okay,here it is again:

The whole episode was fairly enjoyable,IMO,but I ask you to focus on the world-renowned musical classic that commences at around the 8:40 mark.I asked our resident Emperor Penguin,Mr.Blowfish,if he recognized the song, however it was new to him.Like I posted before,if that song truly DOES exist outside of the J&W episode, then it may have sprung from some drunken English futbol fanatics who were well soused at the local pub ....Nigel Sears may be joining them for a round of stiff drinks very soon, huh?

I don't believe that we have heard anything from Jimmie48 since yesterdays loss, I wonder if he did something drastic? He seemed very confident that Caroline was going to win.

He hasn't posted here since friday. Maybe he's just been very busy or unable to access the internet.
Goerges also lost as well.

Sigh. Seppi broken for 5-5 2nd set at 30-40 from 30-15. Seppi was also 2 points away from the 2nd set a couple of times at 5-3.

Argh. Seppi broken for 3-6 3rd set despite breaking Djokovic twice in that set. Win it in 4 Seppi.

Why do you want Novak to lose? He's maybe the only one with even a chance of defeating Rafa.

I don't want there to be a "Novak slam". Nadal winning the French yet again is the lesser of 2 evils.
