The third FO champ in the first quarter is Sveta. It's easy to forget that she's a two time slam champ with the way she's been playing. lol.

Yeah, I'm expecting a beatdown by Vika- but Sveta's weird, playing her is like playing Russian Roulette.

Yeah, and so I had to add the Errani "threat". After all, she has the most clay court wins this season. Then again, this section of the draw may produce the winner. If the court is as slow as it is, Radwanska's consistency may overcome the other power hitters.

Glad you got the humor. I couldn't find anything remarkable to write for this section of the draw - i mean, as compared to the other draws...

"Radwanska-Bartoli-Schiavone-Cibulkova: 1 FO champ & and 3-time 2012 clay court champ Errani"

out, out, out in 1st round. I´m worried about Errani now, her plane might crash down.

Re: Toughest Quadrant at the 2012 Madrid Open?

We have now 2nd quarter:
Radwanska
Scheepers/Errani
Wickmayer
Vinci
Lepchenko
Peer
Medina
Cirstea for a semi place.

And
Woz
Barthel
Pavl.
Serena/Vesnina
Jankovic/Suarez
Safarova/Kanepi
Zakoplaova
Sharapova/Begu for a semi place.

Those quarters are even more uneven now (after the loss of 3 seeds in quarter two).
