Well she recovered well after the first set. Apparently she actually played decent in the second and third. We can't expect the cow to come back and start serving and volleying again.
But it will come by Roland Garros; the clay queen will have the last laugh.

How many volley winners actually came off her racquet in this match? Still amazes me.
an interesting stat i read prior to the clay season was that Pova had the best win/loss record on clay of anyone in the top 100. it may have changed now, but she's not quite the mug on it that everyone thinks.
AT LONG LAST!!!! The DEMOCRATS BACK IN POWER!!! OH, SAY DOES THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER YET WAVE........ YES!!! YES!!!! YEESSSS!!!!! Don't waver, Mr. President - the people voted for you AND your agenda!!
With three titles (TI, TII, TIII), a GS QF and 4R, a TI SF, TI QF, TII QF, all since 2008, not even including her last grand slam semifinal at 2007 Roland Garros (well, second to last, AO 08 yes), clay is quite obviously Sharapova's best surface in recent years. Winning Tokyo on a retirement and making Miami and Cincinnati Fs is good of course, but not quite as good, IMO, as all this. Of course losing to Dementieva in a TI F is quite disastrous too...
There are moments when she plays on clay she is as graceful as a cow, but generally she looks comfortable. Unfortunately this thread doesn't seem to have its humor it may have had a few years ago...boa tentativa, Sr Corswandt.

2012 RG Final. Sharapova def. S. Williams 0-6, 7-6(10), 6-3
Of course, based on your fantasy, isn't pova holding the trophy already? As always, when will her moronic fans post another Poll thread voting her to win 2012 RG? TF is waiting for that. All pova's participation at RG year in year out since day one on tour have ended in EPIC FAIL for a reason!! 2012 ain't gonna be different...

U can't polish a turd!
This is a nice thread, to make fun of Pova's movement on clay, that's it. Since Serena was really good in Charleston, i chose her just for fun. You really need to relax
I think Serena's movement on clay is much funnier than Sharapova's, even if Sharpy likes to get dirty on it. Serena flailing around like a chicken with its head chopped off on clay is priceless sometimes.

Cow On Ice seems to have enjoyed dirt on her precious feet quite a bit last season
Barring the hurricanes and other natural disasters I fully expect ClayPova to better her results of last year...bring it on
