Since Steffi in 99, No player has won Roland Garros without...
...holding a title the same year.
Here are the past champions and the last tournament they were holding before winning Roland Garros.

Of course this doesn't apply to Australian Open. In 2008 Wimbledon was Venus first title of the season. Same for Kim and Sam at USO 2009 and 2011 respectively.

that means Jie, Babos and the Spanish that won Bogota may win RG 2012 
and is it also true that the winners only won ONE title before Roland Garros? that would mean Vika and Aga cannot win RG 2012

No I'm sure that Justine won many titles each season before RG. I'm sure others as well.

No. Justine won Dubai, Charleston, Berlin in 2003; Charleston, Warsaw, Berlin in 2005; Sydney, Dubai in 2006; Dubai, Doha, Warsaw in 2007.

The more interesting question is: which match from RG 2011 will be reversed in the final?
RG 2008: Safina bt Kuznetsova in SF; RG 2009: Kuznetsova bt Safina in F
RG 2009: Stosur bt Schiavone in R1; RG 2010: Schiavone bt Stosur in F
RG 2010: Schiavone bt Li in R3; RG 2011: Li bt Schiavone in F

Maria-Aga wont happen for sure other 2 can easily, they are in same section, but not sure if they are relevant enough this year.
