Well, actually Slamarenka is already really really close to qualifying for the YEC? (no.8 last year Radwanska had 4,940 points, Azarenka already has 4370)

Last year you really had to aim high, because the top 10 players were so far above the rest with nobody truly having a dominant year therefore eating up a lot of points.
