She's gonna need to serve and move well vs Maka. She lost their only meeting on tour back in 2007 but the last time they played was in 2010 Fed Cup which Beth won. So it's a toss up. I honestly think with all the improvements in her variety shots, she'll be a much tougher match for Caro. But first up, take out Makarova Beth!!

Dang. Followed livescores for a bit but left at 3-3 in the second. Was hoping she'd be able to turn it around. Apparently she had her thigh taped up so hopefully it's just for support.  Hopefully she's feeling well and can shake off some rust in doubles and really bring the heat in Miami. Let's go Queen Bethanie!
