It didn't look to good at one point, as she was trailing in the third (by 3-1 I think), so yeah, a valuable win for both - the team as well as her confidence.

Ouch. Losing 2-1 to Romania is no disgrace though, especially considering that we couldn't rely on some of our better players.

i really think two things should have happened differently today:
1) vekic should have played instead of mijacika...both would be out of their league, but it would be a big experience for donna and would have made ani fresh for doubles
2) jurak really should have been on the squad for doubles

We managed to avoid the relegation play-off but it was close:

Tinjic retired to Mrdeza after just 1 game (hope nothing serious), so we are safe. Somewhat of a good news is also that Petra was scheduled to play doubles today (but that match was never played cause the tie was resolved in singles), which indicates that her injury/sickness is probably not too serious.
