I don't know . In this group it's possible everyone gets a win and a loss thus there would be a thin line between the winner and the loser of the group.

Re: Europe/Africa Zone I 2012
I wonder why people really think Kanepi/Kontaveit or any with Ruutel can beat all the doubles teams, I mean Kanepi is not that good in doubles and Kontaveit is quite unexperienced. Also I don't think Netherlands can manage to win that Group C, they have a lot of players in the team but Peer can beat all them and Peer/Glushko can be a dangerous team specially playing in front of the Israeli crowd... Wouldn't be a surprise if Israel gets past that group...

Bad draw for Israel. Peer should win out, even though she was run over by Rus once in Fed Cup, and of course we should beat Portugal with ease (god forbid if we don't), but I wish I could share your optimism regarding the ties vs GBR and the Netherlands.
Yes Glushko was very good last year, but she beat some top 200 players (Linette, Kremer, Kostova), and top 100 ones are a very different story for her. From memory I think she has one such win for her career (Groth in a 25K in Australia, not counting the recent Israeli ch. final vs Peer). If she could beat one of Keothavong or Krajicek it would be a pleasant surprise.
Peer/Glushko aren't that good a team and are not favored in those ties either.
The young Dutch team were very impressive last year and I think they will win the group over the Brits.
Groups A-B (with Hungary missing its top two players) are considerably weaker than C and D.

Stefanou (honestly I didn't even know there is such a player...)
Good luck to you
P.S. I wasn't aware that not too long ago you've fallen as low as Group III

Re: Europe/Africa Zone I 2012
Margit is a good double player (her and maret nearly went to a 3rd against llagostea vibes ad Martinez sanchez when they were both injured. Kaia ha the gme to be a good doubles player and even if etonia doesn't have a great doubles team, their opponent aren't much better

And then Daniilidou rejoined the team and we won 9 consecutive ties

Portugal may not be winnable anymore. Except for the Israeli Crowd (no comment). Koehler would beat Glushko and Peer has not been reat recently and I can sense a Larcher de Brito upset!

Re: Europe/Africa Zone I 2012
Hi all,
I'd like to go to the Fedcup in Eilat with a friend of mine, who sits in a wheelchair. Somebody who was at the Fed Cup last year thought that "Eilat" was mainly inaccessible for wheelchairs, but of course that might just be a personal perception and, if not, maybe things have changed in the mean time. Can anybody answer the following questions?
Q1: Is the park itself accessible for wheelchairs or do we need to climb stairs or lift the wheelchair over some ramps in order to access the park itself?
Q2: if we want to change to different courts to see different matches, how easy is that for a wheelchair. Is that (partly or totally) via stairs and over ramps, or can I just push him across to the next court?
Q3: Can my friend stand next to the court or are the tribunes built in such a way that it is impossible or almost impossible to sit next to the court and/or oversee the court?
And at what distance would he have to stand in case there is room; does he need to watch from 10m or further, or can he stand right next to the court?
Q4: Are the facilities like a restaurant (if that's available on the park) and toilets directly accessible for wheelchairs?
Thanks a lot in advance for your answers.

Sucks to be missing Gerasimou and Georgatou
And now Eleni injured
If only Kontratevidi never retired...
I hope we can beat Bosnia, if not then we must pray to get Estonia in the relegation draw

You will lose to both.
Bosnia 3-0.
Tinjic and Jugic Salkic are both good players and would whip greece in doubles.
Estonia 3-0.
Without the top 3 players, Anett would smash. She would have beaten Eirini anyway as Anett has smashed many players that Eirini lost to comfortably (Sabina Sharipova beat Eirini 63 61). Margit would win the other singles and then they would team up to win the doubles. I hope to god that Estonia gets greece. It's the only way we'll stay in.

There is no draw anymore. If Greece will finish last in the group, then they will play team finishing bottom of pool D.

Eleni is still supposed to play
She's injured but it looks like she'll still make the trip to Israel
And Papamichail can win singles since she may play Kajtazovic because I don't think Mervana still plays singles .
Eirini has also beaten players who Kontaveit can't. Eirini reached QR2 at two slams last year Kontaveit isn't at that level yet
And Estonia can't get Greece as Meelis stated, so have fun in G2 . We might be joining you there . And btw Papamichail is not that bad. She is 18 and top 400. I think she has a chance against a Bosnian
